Wiro binding (sometimes known as wire, spiral or coil binding) involves gathering pages together, punching holes along their side and holding them together with a metal wire spine. When the pages are opened they either lie flat or can fold fully back around, making wiro binding ideal for annual reports, recipe books, manuals and other reference material. It’s also suitable for between 4 and 180 leaves - that’s up to 360 printed sides.
Choose wiro binding on the top or left-hand side, and landscape or portrait orientation. You can select from silk, gloss or uncoated paper (with recycled options for both silk and uncoated), or from our broad range of luxury papers. You can opt to laminate your cover, and for extra strength and durability, you can choose to add protective clear acetate covers.
We can provide wiro bound documents in sizes A3, A4, A5, 1/3 A4 and 210mm x 210mm square. A3 sizes can only be bound on the short edge. We only use black coloured wires on all products.
This finishing process is also known by some people as wire binding, coil binding or even spiral binding.

Silk coated paper has a smooth feel with a discreet surface sheen. It offers excellent ink to paper contrast, and printed colours appear distinct and clear. A recycled option is available. (130gsm – 350gsm)
Gloss coated paper has a shiny surface and very smooth finish. Colour is sharp and stands out well. Ink dries quickly and the need for lamination is reduced. (130gsm – 350gsm)
Our premium uncoated paper is more absorbent than coated paper. Printed inks appear flatter due to this absorbency, and the paper has a soft finish. A recycled option is available. (100gsm – 350gsm)
We have a comprehensive selection of luxury papers for when only the best will do.
